Submit Evidence
Submit Online login using your existing Lionbridge account.
You must be registered for the Software Solutions Test and CfMD or CfMD for CRM 2011, select your existing test in the Validation Programs drop down. Please see our How to document for step by step instructions
Types of Evidences
Customer references are accepted for ISV solutions running on the current version and one version prior of the Microsoft Dynamics product. For guidelines on upgrading your certification on a newer Microsoft Dynamics product (for example, moving from Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 to 2009), click here. Please get a verbal agreement from your customer that they are willing to recommend your solution for the program. Feel free to submit as many customer references as you wish but VeriTest will stop the validation when they reach the necessary number of evidences for CfMD. To speed up the certification process, you can submit more than one contact person per company but we will only count one reference per company for CfMD. If your company has different organizations around the world and you want to submit references from several organizations, we can only approve them as separate CfMD references, if each organization is a separate legal entity and located in different countries.
1. Public Microsoft References
Submit public references to the Microsoft Dynamics (CRP) Customer Reference Program for networking opportunities and double your evidences with the same reference customer!
Use this option when you want to openly promote your brand and build relationships. The Microsoft Dynamics CRP highlights the real-life results of successful customers and connects them with potential prospects that may be facing similar challenges. It provides you with an opportunity to publicly share the success of your customer and your solution through customer-to-customer engagements, case studies, PR, speaking opportunities, and additional benefits.
This option also helps when you have less than 10 customers for ERP and less than 8 for a CRM solution (but at least 6 and 4 respectively). You can submit 2 different types of references (one public and one confidential evidence) from the same customer when you use this option.
Download the Dynamics Customer Reference Nomination Form and send it to dynaref@microsoft.com, copying cfmd@veritest.com. Make sure you also list these references under Public Microsoft References when you Submit Online. Please note that customers will be contacted in English or in one of the major Western European languages. You can speed up the process by notifying your customers.
2. Confidential Microsoft References
We suggest that you check how many existing references you already have in the Partner Membership Centre of the Microsoft Partner Network and simply list them when you Submit Online (note: By entering online, you confirm that the customer references listed are using your solution that is in the certification process (either on the latest or the one previous Microsoft Dynamics version). Microsoft has the right to conduct an audit.). This is an easy way to earn evidences for CfMD, as customers that are already listed as Customer Approved in the Partner Membership Centre, don’t need to be contacted again for CfMD validation. (Any single customer contact may only be submited in one of the Confidential Reference types - Microsoft or Veritest but not both)
3. Confidential VeriTest References
Use this option when you need new references for CfMD, when you have limited time and want to keep the details confidential from public. Please note that these references don't give you networking opportunities or impact your ranking in the Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace. Submit your references to VeriTest, Microsoft's independent third-party vendor, when you Submit Online . VeriTest will validate the references by directly contacting your customers via e-mail. You can speed up the process by following up on the references with your customers. (Any single customer contact may only be submited in one of the Confidential Reference types - Microsoft or Veritest but not both)
4. Customer Case Studies
We suggest using this evidence type for CfMD when you already have a valid customer case study posted, as it takes longer to develop a case study and the local Microsoft offices decide which partner they develop a case study with. Those case studies will qualify for CfMD which meet the following criteria: need to be approved by Microsoft, posted on www.Microsoft.com/CaseStudies, focused on the customer's use of the Microsoft Dynamics solution going for CfMD (See a sample case study). For a new case study, contact your local Microsoft Account Manager and download the nomination form for the Microsoft Customer Reference Program from PartnerSource (the website requires separate log-in). By choosing this option, you can register the same customers that you submitted for Public or Confidential customer references, therefore doubling your customer evidences with the same customer, enter the URL of your Case Study when you Submit Online.
5. Microsoft Executive Nomination
Work with your local Microsoft contact to get a director level Microsoft Dynamics executive to nominate you for CfMD. Once you have the verbal agreement, you will add the contact information of the Microsoft executive when you Submit Online. Lionrbidge will contact the executive via e-mail for validation.
